July 6, 2017 was the day when we had the pleasure to welcome 140 professionals from the ecosystem for the 5th edition of #FinTechMeets at BGL BNP Paribas headquarters. The topic was as always intriguing: “Rethinking customer digital experience”. Together with Rodrigo Sepúlveda Schulz, co-founder and Managing Partner of Expon Capital, and Polina Montano, co-founder and COO of JobToday, the audience was able to reflect on how customer experience is being disrupted by new technologies appearing every day.
Rodrigo started the session by drawing a picture of the future that is standing at our doors. With Internet becoming more and more mobile, pervasive and customized, and technologies emerging that embed Artificial Intelligence and Augmented/Virtual Reality, the way we live our lives is being totally rethought, let alone the way we engage with each other for personal and business matters. That is opening multiple opportunities for companies in all sectors to communicate with their clients every second, everywhere and in ways they have not experienced before.
By practical example Polina explained how JobToday has discrupted a 270$ billion global market of blue-collar and hourly recruitment. With their user-friendly mobile messenger where job seekers and employers can communicate easy and fast, JobToday has already processed 50 million job applications since its launch in 2015. We are proud to say that, a startup that lux future lab has played host to, is rapidly expanding worldwide and has now the ambition to become world’s favorite hiring app.
